Halloween night...

Halloween
In addition to the much anticipated trick-or-treating, we of course had a couple of pre-Halloween outings in costume - this has become a Carlson tradition. Although we have a precious ballet outfit from cousin Kate (which Bailey loves) that I though would make a delightful costume, every time someone asked Bailey what she was going to be for Halloween, she would answer confidently, "a kitty cat." Given that she has had an interest in cats bordering on obsession since her early toddler days, I decided to humor her. Trick-or-treating was a big hit, and Bailey has been talking about it for days to anyone who is willing to listen. Elliott was quite comfortable with Halloween as well - he walked right into our neighbors' homes, explored, harassed their pets, and took as much candy as his little hands could grasp. We were very appreciative of Grams' company as trick-or-treating was most certainly a two person job (and of course someone had to stay behind to hand out candy).
