Bailey's first wedding

Bailey and I left the boys at home this past weekend and went to my cousin's wedding. Grams and Ted were gracious enough to let a spunky three year old tag along on a couple long days of travel to get to and from Lynchburg, Virginia. We had a wonderful time seeing aunts, uncles, and cousins, and I discovered that little B is quite the party girl. She happily stayed up until 11:00 or so for the rehearsal dinner and the wedding, and she was a dancing queen as the band played. She made quite a scene, and while many wedding guests requested a dance with her, she made it clear that Grams and I were the only acceptable partners.

All of those bags aren't ours by the way, but admittedly don't travel light - Grams got a big kick out of my luggage. A girl's got to have a car seat (and a cot, and a stroller, and...oh how the list goes on...).

Yes, I love pictures of Bailey's back in windows!

The kids decided to work off their dinner while the adults enjoyed the gardens.

Throughout the weekend, Bailey put her hand in her mouth whenever we asked to take her picture. This is me getting a little flustered about that.

It was hard for Bailey to understand that she had to wait for the ceremonious cake cutting before she could have dessert. It was similarly difficult for me to explain all the rituals!
