Hopefully all our moving around is helping Bailey learn to be adaptable: she has had three birthday parties in three different locations! We are figuring out our next move, but for now we are appreciating time with family in Franklin...it is especially nice for the kids to celebrate their special days with cousins, grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
Everything was going quite well, I blew out the candle for Bailey, and then...she grabbed the hot wick! I guess I forgot to mention that's hot.
We sympathized with her pain and felt guilty about the situation, but we couldn't help ourselves from recognizing the humor...

And she was all better!
Bailey asked for "book presents" for her birthday, and the family delivered! Sweet Granddad read every book she received after everyone else went home.

Oh yay! I have been waiting for a Bailey's Birthday post! She is really too precious for words and looks so much like BOTH of you. Wow. I truly can't believe she is three! Please let her know that there are at least a few people in the Bay Area who think she is wonderful (and who miss here parents dearly!).
