Elliott had his first taste of real food last weekend. We started with sweet potatoes and have moved on to avocado. He is very messy and not at all excited about eating. He is, however, very into the spoon, bib, and cup (hence the mess). Bailey is very involved in the process every time and finds it quite humorous. I've discovered that she still enjoys baby purees - she wanted to join in on the sweet potato feast and ate an entire bowl, and she happily finishes leftover watery avocado as well.
