The first day was a success! I had to explain many times that I was going to leave and come back to pick her up later, and eventually she accepted that with no tears. Her teacher said that she overheard Bailey talking on the play phone about being at preschool and Mommy picking her up - it's nice to know that even though separation seems to be easy, at least she's thinking of me! When I came to get her, she did not seem to have any intention of leaving (she briefly looked up from her riding toy to inform me - "I'm playing at preschool. I ride a bike."). I didn't get a lot of details about her morning, but here's a little of what she gave me on the ride home..."toys and toys," "people and babies...
lots of babies," "so much fun!" When I asked her what she had for snack, she said "cup of water and food." That's a relief.

We are so happy Bailey is enjoying pre-school. We especially like the dress and backpack. Here's to many fun days at school in the years ahead. Love, Grams and Bond
