Bailey is very into labeling things - most of our conversations revolve around the names of objects or what animal or vehicle has made certain sounds. Thus on our recent visit to the tidal basin, we heard her enthusiastically proclaim "flower!" at least 100 times. It was an extraordinary afternoon, and taking in the beauty around us was, as always, enhanced by the exhilaration of someone seeing the world through new eyes.
