Independence

Good times are underway in the Cascade Mountains this weekend where we're celebrating our nation's independence (as evidenced by Bailey's patriotic outfit, courtesy of grandma Mary) and my employment independence (my last day at Microsoft was on Thursday). Bailey has been highly social, working the crowd table by table, for all twenty tables, at our lodge's restaurant and then mingling with parade watchers at the quaint Cle Elum parade. Parade highlights: masked wrestler guy driving a tropical pet rescue truck and seven foot tall chicken dude promoting an upcoming Ukrainian polka party. What a melting pot we are!
