Sadly, the weekend long celebration of my birth has ended. The weekend began with Erik giving me the chance to sleep in (one of my favorite gifts!) and a family breakfast (which is very rare on a week day). We went downtown for dinner on Friday night, spent a sunny Saturday at Greenlake, and had brunch on Sunday with Amy, Keith, and little Sam. I was surprised by a chocolate cake and a slew of facts about culture and happenings during the year 1980. Apparently, Macaulay Culkin was also born in 1980, Dallas was one of the most popular TV shows, and the price of a house was significantly less. Fascinating.
